How Google screens resumes

Google takes applications on its own careers site, with no third-party applicant tracking system (ATS) in view. Google says you can apply for up to three jobs in any 30 days. It asks for a new resume for each job, written around the job's minimum qualifications and backed with data.

Before you apply to Google: 6 checks

Each one comes from what the company itself publishes. The sources are further down.

Pick at most three jobs. Google allows three applications in a rolling 30 days.
Copy the minimum qualifications (MQs) from the posting. Make sure each one is visible on your resume.
Start from a blank page for each job, as Google suggests. Do not reuse one generic resume.
Rewrite your top bullets as "accomplished X, as measured by Y, by doing Z".
If you led people, say how big the team was and what you owned.
Skip the cover letter unless you have something to add. Google says it does not require one.
